If you are into eclectic soul, check out the new single, Weak In Love. Written and performed by singer/songwriter, Boskasie, the single fuses melodic vocal hooks with contemporary sounds. It explores all themes related to love: Why do we love, why does it hurt so much, and why are we scared of it?
Hailing from Cape Town, Boskasie is currently based in Johannesburg and is heavily influenced by Cape Jazz and Ghoema. Her sound has been described as captivating and hypnotic, while her lyrics has been described as thought provoking and socially conscious. Most of her songs deals with identity, relationships and self-love.
She recently graduated from Wits University and in addition to her music, she is also a painter, designer and dancer.
