A desperate Elicia Cleophas is looking for justice after the police failed to produce any suspects in the hit and run murder of her 11 year old son, Ethan.
The incident happened last year on the 4th of December on the corner of Fransie van Zyl Drive and 35th Avenue in Elsies River.
As reported by IOL, Ethan was out walking the dogs with his older 13 year old brother, Egan and 24 year old family friend, Clive Adams.
As Ethan was crossing the road, a white Chrysler jumped a red robot and struck Ethan.
Clive says that Ethan was breathing for a little while after being struck, but died soon afterwards.
The driver of the vehicle drove off and the police have not, as of yet, managed to find any leads as to the driver’s identity.
At the time of the incident, Elicia said that she wants the driver charged with murder and asked, Why did he not stop to help or take Skyler to hospital?”
“How could he leave my baby lying there in the road?” asked Elicia.
“He did not even say sorry,”
On Monday, three months after her son’s death, the desperate mother posted on social a plea to anyone who has information, to help her find justice and come forward.
